FS Regulatory Lawyer ( Fintech)

An elite International Law firm currently has a new opportunity for a FS Regulations lawyer with digital assets or fintech experience to join their leading FS regulatory Group on an initial 6-month contract starting asap. The position is with a view to extend.

This would suit an individual who is a confident self-starter, as the scope of the role will change as the market continues to unfold and develop.

The work the team does includes;

• Taking a proactive role in looking at the evolving area of DLT (distributed ledger technology) and cryptocurrencies from a cross-practice perspective. As well as fintech and payments regulations in particular.
• As DLT technology is increasingly being utilised outside of crypto there is an increasing need for lawyers with regulatory and risk management experience to advise clients in this area particularly in the technology and innovation space.
• In addition to the teams growing crypto and emerging technology practice, you will also get involved in regulatory aspects of the  e commerce, payments as well as consumer credit and more traditional FS regulatory frameworks.  

The team is keen to remain at the forefront of this market and so for the individual who is successful, you will join a market leading practice with a strong leaning towards tech, FS and innovation.
