Regulatory Solicitor

Regulatory Solicitor, up to £55,000, London – Hybrid working available. This niche regulatory body is looking for an exceptional Solicitor or Barrister to provide maternity cover for a senior Regulatory Solicitor within their organisation.

SALARY:         £45,000-£55,000 dependent upon experience

THE ROLE:
A career enhancing opportunity for a talented Solicitor or Barrister has become available to join a supportive and progressive regulatory body covering a fixed term period of maternity leave. You will be combining complex case management with leadership and influencing policy within the sector. The appointed solicitor will advise the board and handle key stakeholder relationships as a representative of the organisation. In addition to these duties, you will be investigating a caseload of complex complaints and carrying out prosecutions where needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for an implementation of a new complaints’ procedure, making this your own program. This organisation is looking for an ambitious candidate, seeking a new challenge to immerse into.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Barristers with experience within regulatory law, and experience in handling regulatory complaint cases from instruction to completion. You will be a proactive individual, looking to take on a leadership role, taking on lead decision making and using your in-house legal expertise on behalf of the organisation. You will have a proven track record of decision making and defending against appeals as necessary. To be successful in this role, the appointed legal professional will be able to balance and prioritise their workload. The appointed Locum will have experience of working in a busy environment and be able to contribute from day one.
