THE ROLE:
This leading firm has developed excellence in all areas of commercial law within the private, public and third sectors. This commercial team is ranked in Tier 1 in the prestigious Legal 500 Guide for 2022 and undertakes a wide range of work. From day 1, you will be exposed to high quality work and client interface. The practice is currently acting for a wide variety of clients on high quality and interesting matters and due to the number of instructions the team is now looking to hire an additional Commercial Solicitor.

You will be advising on a wide range of commercial contracts including matters related to commercial trading agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing agreements, franchising, IP, manufacturing and data protection. You will be involved in drafting and negotiating contracts of various sizes and values and will be encouraged to act as an extension of the firm’s clients' in-house legal teams.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Commercial Solicitor will have developed a good grounding in commercial law in their early career or be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in this practice. You will be comfortable drafting and negotiating contracts and keen to develop further your skills; carrying out legal research and due diligence; guiding clients through commercial challenges; developing client relationships and ensuring that the team delivers solutions in line with their clients' aims.
