Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: Central London

Salary: £34,000

Prestigious London law firm are looking for an experienced residential conveyancing paralegal to join their award-winning property team and work in a 1:1 role for a leading partner. You will be advising on all aspects of residential work including investment acquisition, residential sales and purchases, and refinancing and you will be running your own residential files (with supervision). The partner is renowned for the high-quality service they provide their clients.

A small selection of duties will include:

  • Carrying out property searches
  • Dealing with all aspects of the Land Registry Portal including obtaining OCEs, title documents and applications
  • Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
  • Drafting reports on title / reviewing and reporting on title
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Drafting contracts of sale
  • All aspects of post completion work including dealing with notices of transfer and charge, share certificates, stock transfer forms, deeds of covenant

The client is looking for a candidate with at least 12 months’ experience as a conveyancing paralegal and you must be able to deal with all aspects of the residential transaction from instruction through to post-completion. Exceptional communication and client skills are also essential as you will be expected to build rapport and relationships with established and new clients and act on your own initiative. You must also be able to conduct searches with minimal supervision.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment and you will be supporting just the one equity partner with his caseload of high-end residential transactions as well as running your own.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious paralegal to gain quality experience in a major law firm and develop your client skills as well as gain exposure to a wide range of residential property work. Excellent long term prospects as there is the potential for this role to lead to a TC.
