Locum Commercial Property Lawyer

South East

£45 - 55 per hour

Remote Working

A Commercial Property Lawyer is required to join a large alternative business structure on a locum basis for an initial 3 months with the strong possibility of contract extension. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large shared service arrangement which prides itself on being one of the market leaders for undertaking public sector work in the East Midlands and South East.

Depending on the level of experience, the lawyers in the property team deal with the following type of work:

Leases of industrial units, lease renewals, Reports on Title, easements/wayleaves, option agreements, development agreements, Transfers pursuant to s106 agreements, statutory Transfers, disposals of land for residential development, acquisitions for highway schemes (alongside CPO) or social housing (individual units or entire blocks of new flats).

Some members of the team assist with queries on old or existing housing stock and Right to Buys. Principal lawyers are likely to be involved in more complex strategic development sites.

The work is interesting and varied and the extent/nature of their clients' estates means that the quality of the work and projects the organisation get involved in is excellent.

The role will be a remote working arrangement but you will have the opportunity to choose to work from 1 of 3 offices of your choice once per week - Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire or Bedfordshire.
