Our client, a top tier firm, is currently recruiting for a Knowledge Lawyer for their Disputes and Litigation team. As well as the relevant skills and experience, they are looking for people who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do. This role would allow you to be pioneering and creative in your approach to it.

The role will involve:
Drafting material for external or internal publications including blogs and identifying topics of interest and likely candidates for articles.
Providing knowledge support to business development initiatives, including supporting key client and key industry sector initiatives.
Advising lawyers and discussing the legal issues which they face in their cases, and providing assistance to lawyers in their research.
Maintaining existing precedents and drafting new precedents.
Maintaining existing practice notes, drafting new practice notes and assisting in their drafting.
Planning, organising, preparing and delivering legal and industry focused training to fee-earners at all levels and clients.
Devising, implementing and promoting the use of internal systems for knowledge collection and dissemination (research notes, transactional documents, training material etc.).
Managing projects to streamline existing know-how processes and ensure they are working efficiently.

Skills and Experience Required:
Qualified lawyer with significant experience in arbitration and litigation from a well-regarded litigation practice or chambers.
Experience in or interest in preparing and delivering interesting and innovative training programmes tailored to the audience.
Ability to work with a variety of personalities across all levels of the organisation.
Experience in or interest in the collation, storage and delivery of knowledge.
Project management experience and demonstrated creativity in problem solving.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent legal research skills.
Demonstrable ability to write high quality and accessible material for existing knowledge publications, showing the ability to deliver clear and engaging training and market insight.
