This is a unique opportunity for a criminal defence solicitor to join an award winning North East firm!
Due to organic growth, our client is seeking a criminal defence solicitor to join their well-established Legal Aid Practice. This firm pride itself on its strong ethical background and on the high quality of service offered.
As a criminal defence solicitor you will advise clients on a wide range of criminal matters and manage a varied caseload, including running Court files, briefing Counsel and instructing agents. You will also have the opportunity to provide support to less experienced members of the team and to further develop the wider firm.
Ideally you will be 2 years' PQE with a criminal law background and experience in legal aid practice. You will be resilient with the ability to communicate effectively and have a genuine desire to provide excellent service.
