Personal injury Paralegal (Military Team) Manchester - This is a rare and unique opportunity for the right candidate to join a leading claimant personal injury team in a highly specialised area of law. The team represents military personnel who have suffered injury do to a breach in the Ministry of Defence's ("MOD") duty of care. The type of work is exceptionally varied and technical. The team are looking for an experienced personal injury paralegal that they can develop into the role.

- Background: Experienced personal injury paralegal. A consistently strong academic background with experience from a reputable claimant of defendant firm; experience of handling own caseload of fast track files and ideally exposure to multi track work.
Introduction to military claims team
The team represents service personnel in the British military who have sustained avoidable injury whilst employed in the armed forces. The personal injury matters encountered by the team encompass a vast range of incidents. Cases might involve:
- Fatal military accidents;
- Training accidents;
- Aviation accidents;
- Injuries sustained during a 'friendly fire' incident;
- Hearing loss;
- Non-freezing injuries;
- Brain injuries;
- PTSD
As well as the above, the team is also involved in military inquest work as well as other incidents that fall under the MOD umbrella such as abuse and bullying.
