The firm's' Medical Negligence team are one of the longest-standing and most highly respected medical negligence practices in the East of England.

This Top Tier Department is seeking a junior Medical Negligence Solicitor to join their growing and highly successful team in Essex.

The Opportunity

This a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Medical Negligence Solicitor to work alongside some of the best experts in their field.

This new hire will be responsible for handling a varied and high quality caseload including:

• Acting for Claimants in complex medical negligence cases and Inquests including highly sensitive and emotive cases

• Advising clients of funding options; identifying and liaising with appropriate experts and Counsel; advising clients on merits and quantum; advising on procedure and alternative dispute resolution processes

• Working with high profile cases which may have a higher level of economic, political, or social impact or risk for the firm

• Considering and identifying clients' needs, for example, access to rehabilitation, the need for financial advice, Wills, Powers of Attorneys, pre / post Nuptial agreements etc. and facilitating this, as appropriate

Requirements

• Experience commensurate to that of 3 years + PQE
• Proven experience in handling high value medical negligence claims
• Passionate and enthusiastic about medical negligence work
• Can demonstrate a high level of client service
