A well-respected Local Authority in the West Midlands are looking for a Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their large and friendly team for an initial basis of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
The ideal Litigation Lawyer will be a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with experience in all aspects of Housing law, in particular housing disrepair claims. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Handling a caseload from start to finish on all aspects of Housing Management, including housing conditions claims
- Attending court
- Support the litigation team
- Have a strong understanding and experience in a civil litigation caseload
The Housing Litigation Lawyer will ideally come from a public sector background, although candidates with relevant experience in private practice are more than encouraged to apply.
The role is offering a hybrid working arrangement, with some attendance at court where required.
