  • As part of an investment, they are building a new strategic water supply asset in Hampshire. The preferred consenting mechanism for delivering this new water resource infrastructure is through the development consent order process, however the town and country planning process does also form a critical part of their consenting strategy.

The successful candidate will be;

  • Embedded into the wflH Programme
  • Providing day-to-day support for the programme activities and working with external legal advisers, and individuals at all levels across the programme delivery team.
  • Expected to have a good grounding in consenting (planning), environment and regulatory law.

This role reports to the Senior Environment and Planning Solicitor in the wider legal team but you will be working with a small project team.

Experience gained acting on Development Consent Order matters, in the utilities sector or taking delivery projects through consenting in a regulated sector would be particularly desirable.

The role in will suit a candidate who is enthusiastic, flexible, willing to work hard and enjoy working in a team environment. The successful candidate will be willing to attend our office in Falmer, preferably 2 - 3 days per week but can be flexible for the right candidate.
