Haggerty Jaques is delighted to be instructed on this fabulous senior in-house opportunity with a big name in the Yorkshire and international market.

This exciting, hands-on role will involve you getting under the skin of one of the most interesting businesses in the country, with plenty of varied legal and project management work.

You will be instrumental in implementing new policies, procedures and precedents, working on major projects that affect the business’ growth, interacting on a regular basis with senior stakeholders and training your colleagues across the company.

The team is keen to recruit a lawyer who can see the bigger picture, think commercially, and offer approachable and proactive legal support to the wider business.

The bulk of your work will involve commercial contracts of all types so you will need to have a strong background in this but, as with all in-house roles, you will see a variety of legal matters cross your desk, some of which will involve you in instructing external counsel.

There is a highly competitive salary package and bonus on offer, along with a number of perks that are relevant to the sector that this business operates in.

As a guide, the successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE, with some previous in-house experience, which could include a client secondment.
