G2 Legal are currently aiding a market-leading IP firm in the hopes to find a hardworking and ambitious Trade mark Paralegal that has extensive experience in supporting fee earners in managing client portfolios.
Additionally, the successful candidate must be technically adaptable and able to take on multiple different tasks that do not need to be performed by an attorney.

Key responsibilities:
  • Covering fee earners' inboxes whilst they are busy
  • Work closely with the Trade Mark Secretaries and liaising with other support teams within the company
  • Preparing Trade Mark forms (TM3, TM31R, TM33)
  • Reviewing watch notices and reporting conflicting marks to clients
  • Collating evidence for exhibits
  • Providing training and advice to clients on the Trade Mark process  
  • Drafting correspondence to clients – such as advising them on the differences of filing a national versus a US Madrid
  • Preparation of Trade applications (occasionally assisting with drafting specifications)
 
Requirements:
  • Well educated, to degree standard
  • Previous experience in a Trade Mark Paralegal role
  • A CITMA qualification is essential
  • Must have exceptional written and spoken English
  • Must be proactive and be able to work to tight deadlines
