Land Charges Assistant

Remote working if experienced

Full Time/Part Time

£15 - £25 per hour, depending on experience

A local authority based in the North West is looking for a legal assistant to join their friendly, well respected team to deal with Land Charges.

The successful Land Charges Legal Assistant must have previous experience of using local land charges search applications and understand the process. Other areas they will pick up are:

  • Preparing and processing local land search certificates
  • Searching the land charges register on behalf of the public and solicitors
  • Ad-hoc tasks
  • To process and research local land charges searches
  • Maintain and prepare and update the land charges register
  • Deal with all matters relating to land charges and the land registry

The role will initially be for 2 - 3 months with the possibility of being extended further.
