Commercial Litigation Associate

A fantastic opportunity for a commercial litigation associate to join a Legal 500 ranked commercial litigation team at this leading international practice, ranked as one of the top 30 firms in the UK.

The firm operates on a truly global scale with offices throughout the UK and Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, North America and South America.

The commercial litigation team in London represents clients in High Court litigation, international and domestic arbitration; manage proceedings in other jurisdictions, and co-ordinate proceedings in more than one jurisdiction; advising and assisting clients on ADR, including mediation.

Acting for multinational corporations, large and medium sized companies, professionals and trustees, and high net worth individuals with corporate interests spanning various sectors which include arts and culture, sports, banking and financial services, pensions, consumer and retail, hotels and leisure, healthcare, and life sciences.

The successful commercial litigation associate joining this commercial litigation team in London will undertake the highest calibre commercial litigation work, advising on disputes relating to:

- Commercial contracts
- Trade finance
- Corporate transactions
- Joint ventures
- Partnerships
- Shareholder disputes
- Financial transactions
- Fraud and injunctions
- Asset tracing
- Enforcement strategies

This position is ideally suited to commercial litigation associates between one and three years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

- A strong academic background
- Clear and concise preparation and drafting of documentation
- The ability to build excellent working relationships with clients and peers
- Experience in conducting legal research using internal and external knowledge management resources
- A willingness and enthusiasm to participate in business development and profile raising activities and events
