The work itself will be high-quality, high-value and complex, and will involve advising on the Jersey law elements of some of the biggest corporate matters in the market. It will suit someone who is technically strong and commercially astute, and who enjoys the client-facing side of the business. The Channel Islands

For a city-based lawyer who thrives on big-ticket work but craves an escape from the rat race, few places compete with the Channel Islands, home to two of the world’s premier offshore financial centres. Jersey and Guernsey have strong and highly competitive legal sectors housing teams that number many alumni of the leading London or international outfits amongst their ranks. They do complex blue-chip work, in a nice environment without the trappings of a big law firm culture. Process

Interviews will take place by videoconference with start dates typically around 3-4 months later (depending on your notice period). Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with visas (where required) and relocation. 

Requirements

The role is likely to suit someone with 3-6 years’ corporate experience gained with a respected UK/equivalent law firm. You will be admitted in the UK, Ireland or in a Commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa).

Package

Good salary (expected range £85k-£120k) with reduced tax rate (20%). Comprehensive benefits, bonus, and relocation package (flights + temporary accommodation on arrival + expenses allowance)
