NQ Vacancy – Commercial and Employment Litigation – High-quality work – Guernsey
This prestigious offshore law firm is looking for a newly qualified lawyer (Aug/Sep 2023) to take on a broad litigation role that spans both high-value commercial and employment disputes.
Joining one of the leading teams on the island, you will be working closely with, and learning from, experienced Partners who will encourage you to take on early responsibility making this an ideal role for someone who is keen to fast-track their development. Your commercial litigation work will offer you exposure to high-value international matters, while your employment work will focus on advising some of the island’s premier clients (many in the banking and financial services sector) on the full range of contentious employment law.
You will be qualifying as a lawyer in England and Wales (or an equivalent common law jurisdiction) and will have ideally completed seats in both litigation and employment law, although applicants with one of these seats and a genuine interest in the role are encouraged to apply. You will have strong technical and client-facing skills and will be training with a good UK or equivalent international law firm.
