A legal 500 regional law firm is looking for an Insolvency Solicitor to join their growing team based in their Southampton office. Ideally the firm is looking for a newly qualified solicitor.

The specialist insolvency and reconstructing team support their clients through all stages of the demise curve, working with well-established clients from financial institutions, retailers, insolvency practitioners, and turnaround directors. The team carryout a variety of work including distressed corporate restructurings, insolvency procedures (including administration, company voluntary arrangements, bankruptcy, and liquidation), along with board advisory work.

The successful candidate will be involved in the preparation of appointment papers, drafting, and negotiating a range of contracts, assisting with solvent reorganisations and distressed equity clients, working with investment banks, carrying-out complex research, supporting clients with complex strategic and commercial issues, and designing and delivering training to both clients and internal teams.
