Real Estate Finance (REF) Managing Associate, London, 4+ PQE

Our client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Managing Associate to join the growing Real Estate Finance team, part of the Banking team.

The team is on the panels of the top UK retail banks and the top investment banks. Lawyers act for the major insurance lenders, alternative lenders/debt funds, private wealth divisions and investment banks, in addition to a growing number of investors, developers and other borrower clients.

Winning clients and work is not solely the job of the senior lawyers; for the team to be as effective as it is, it needs to pull together as a whole to grow the practice. From day one, you will be supported in developing these skills which are integral to the success of the business and to your own success as your career progresses. An important part of that will often be through client secondments in some of the biggest businesses in the market.

The team has a flat structure; it is not hierarchical; rather, it is simply made up of lawyers with different levels of experience. People are given early responsibility, which often involves stepping outside your comfort zone, whilst at the same time being properly supported.

The attributes sought, in addition to good academics, are a real interest in business and commerce. You will have strong Real Estate Finance experience gained from working in an international or leading UK firm and will want to be a part of a diverse, hard-working and progressive team in which you will play a key role in helping to grow.
