A new role has become available for an experienced healthcare solicitor, who would like to expand, shape and lead a small legal services team, working in a large branch of Central Government.
You will be joining a small but happy and well-functioning team, and once settled in your role, you will have the opportunity to assist in the appointment of another junior member of staff.
Your day to day work will vary, so a well-rounded background in healthcare is essential. Primarily you will deal with claims, contentious inquests, and you will provide advocacy in the Coroner’s Court. A small amount of your time will be dedicated to line management of junior staff.
This role will be hybrid, with flexible working available, dependent on the type of work arising from day to day and week to week: ideally 3 or 4 days per week in the office and 1 or 2 days per week working from home. The location of the office is Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The pay band for this role is £56,164 - £65,262 per annum, and the role is being offered on a permanent basis. There is potential to be appointed anywhere within the band, dependent on experience and performance at interview.
