The Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, friendly and award-winning team that delivers high quality work for an impressive list of clients.

The Role

They are looking for a commercial solicitor to join their leading national commercial team in the Norwich office to undertake a wide range of work, including advice on commercial contracts, outsourcing projects, IT agreements, data protection and public procurement.

You will work on your own matters, which will include drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including standard terms and conditions, outsourcing agreements, distributorship and agency agreements, website terms of use and privacy policies, supply contracts and joint venture agreements.

You will also have the opportunity to advise on data protection and public procurement strategy and documentation and, if you do not already have experience in these areas, training will be provided as necessary.

Key skills include:

* Good academics are required and you must be technically strong
* Excellent written English
* Excellent time and file management skills and possess competent analytical skills
* A can do attitude with flexibility and ability to work under pressure, as well as working as part of a team
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to build relationships with clients and potential clients.

- 3+ PQE
- Qualified Solicitor
- have excellent technical skills in commercial law
- have a strong interest in how businesses and public sector bodies operate
- be commercially-minded
- prepared to turn your hand to a wide range of work.
