Background:

Our client is a global leading insurer that is seeking to expand their secretariat function with this new position. The successful postholder should have an insurance background and a minimum of 4 years of experience. The is a great opportunity to join a world class business, in a role that will offer genuine long-term prospects and a competitive salary.

You will be involved in:

  • Providing advice on corporate governance and company secretarial practise to both regulated and non-regulated entities.
  • Providing a professional and proactive service in the support of board and committee meetings within the UK portfolio of companies.
  • Drafting resolutions, regulatory returns and lodge required forms and compliance statements with Companies House.
  • Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, conflicts, directors and secretaries.
  • Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment.

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience.
  • ICSA qualified.
  • Experience working at an insurance company.
  • Relevant Company Secretarial experience working with a regulated environment.
  • Experience in the engagement with Non-Executive Directors and Board/Committee chairs.
