Background:
Our client is a global leading insurer that is seeking to expand their secretariat function with this new position. The successful postholder should have an insurance background and a minimum of 4 years of experience. The is a great opportunity to join a world class business, in a role that will offer genuine long-term prospects and a competitive salary.
You will be involved in:
- Providing advice on corporate governance and company secretarial practise to both regulated and non-regulated entities.
- Providing a professional and proactive service in the support of board and committee meetings within the UK portfolio of companies.
- Drafting resolutions, regulatory returns and lodge required forms and compliance statements with Companies House.
- Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, conflicts, directors and secretaries.
- Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Minimum of 4 years' experience.
- ICSA qualified.
- Experience working at an insurance company.
- Relevant Company Secretarial experience working with a regulated environment.
- Experience in the engagement with Non-Executive Directors and Board/Committee chairs.
