Head of Wills, Trust and Probate

Sellick Partnership are working with a well regarded firm who are looking to expand their Wills, Trust and Probate department in Liverpool.

Our client has an outstanding reputation across Merseyside and are looking for a Head of Department with energy, ideas and a strong sense of commerciality to lead their growing, ambitious team.

The role

The team serve a private client base and offer a broad range of services including administering Probate, Inheritance tax planning, Trusts and Appointing Power of Attorney

Key accountabilities

• Provide inspirational leadership and focus on day-to-day empowerment, ownership and motivation of the team
• Creating good, clear, communication within and across the teams to develop a cohesive, positive team environment and dynamic.
• Lead and support the team through the continuous evolution of the legal market and our ways of working
• Develop and foster a client focussed culture
• Involved in the preparation of wills, advice on trusts, inheritance tax, advising of lasting powers of attorney and dealing with applications and registrations

The successful candidate

• 4+ years PQE
• The ability to determine priorities and consistently meet deadlines
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent client relationship skills
• High level of attention to detail and an enquiring mind
