Our client, a local authority based in the North West, is seeking a Housing and Prosecutions Lawyer to join their team for a period of 3 months initially, with the view to contract being extended.
Our client is looking for a Solicitor that has a strong and demonstrated interest in doing both housing and prosecutions. The caseload will include, but will not be limited to:
- Possessions
- Disrepair
- Homelessness
- ASB
- Benefit fraud
- Enforcement notices
- Licensing
Local authority experience is desirable for the role however those that conduct similar work in private practice is strongly encouraged to apply. This local authority offers condensed and flexible working hours. Court attendance is required one day a week. Full-time or part-time candidates will be considered.
