Private Client Solicitor - Global Firm, Dublin

Our client is a leading financial services and multi-disciplinary practice with a world-class global brand.

As a private wealth / private client solicitor you will be joining a team that has a stellar reputation for their private client work, particularly when it comes to advising high net worth clients.

You will be a private client solicitor ideally between 2 - 6 years PQE to fit within the current team structure.

Your role will include:

· Responsibility for supporting and managing a diverse portfolio of client engagements;
· Wealth structuring for high net worth individuals;
· Dealing with the tax implications of a variety of trust structures;
· Responding to ad-hoc consulting queries from clients regarding such matters as new investments, family issues, business issues etc.
· Developing strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, collaborating with other teams across the firm on specific projects;
· Maintaining relevant tax knowledge, staying current with technical developments including changes in tax law and legislation.
· Being part of a growing team, helping to identify and develop new opportunities, including involvement in developing new client relationships.

What is required?

· Preferably relevant (but not essential) experience of tax issues facing privately or family owned businesses, trusts/estates and business owners.
· Strong research skills and a solution focused mindset
· Excellent communication skills - you will be expected over time to develop into the point of contact on the client relationships.
· Excellent written communication - including report writing, technical memo drafting and concise advice for clients.
· Efficient use of technology
· While not essential, relevant accounting/tax professional qualifications - preferably ACA/CTA/STEP qualified or close to completion ideally.
