Business Development Manager (Banking / Finance)

Business Development Manager role in a top international law firm, focusing on their leading Banking and Finance group. International remit. London with hybrid working.

This top international law firm has a market leading Banking practice. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a BD Manager to lead on the strategic BD initiatives for the group. The role will work with some dynamic partners, with great buy-in and plenty of innovative ideas. The role will be strategic, leading on some key projects for BD. The Banking group are the real trendsetters for BD in the firm. The role isn’t bid heavy, and instead the BD Manager will work on large-scale profile-raising initiatives internationally.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

• Planning and implementing the business development and marketing plans for group; Working with the sector leads on annual strategy, budgets and campaigns; Monitoring market developments and opportunities; Playing an advisory role to partners around targeting and profile raising opportunities; Feeding into major firmwide projects;

The role would suit a Senior BD Executive looking to step up or a BD Manager who is ready for a new challenge. Experience in legal or a major accountancy firm is essential. Experience of Banking and Finance isn’t essential, as long as you can demonstrate an interest and desire to learn more about the space.
