Senior Corporate Public M&A PSL

THE ROLE

An experienced Senior PSL is sought to provide support to the team in the highly regulated area of Public M&A.

The Senior PSL should have excellent knowledge of the UK Takeover Code and the regulatory landscape for public takeovers in the UK and have had experience of working at or directly with members of the UK Takeover Panel.

Broadly, the role covers four key areas including transaction support; knowledge management; training and know how, and business development.

The individual will be expected to interact with partners and clients on a daily basis and regularly handle client and matter issues of strategic transactional importance as well as contributing to the firm's leading contribution to significant strategic client or other work in the sphere of public takeovers in the UK.

This is a role based in London, reporting into the Director of Professional Support (London) and the PSL Practice Group Reference Partner

THE CANDIDATE

With at least 8pqe you will have sound legal experience in public M&A in a large law firm or financial institution, including experience and market knowledge of transactions regulated by the Takeover Panel and other Code transactions.

You will be looking for a hybrid in-office/remote role based in London office, with 3 days in the office and standard hours of 9:30 - 18:00
