Costs Lawyer

A market leading Defendant firm is seeking an experienced costs lawyer to join its expanding team. The firm has been ranked in the top 100 of "Best Companies to work for" for the past 18 years and is renowned for its outstanding services and clients on an international basis.

There is scope to develop and expand the current range of costs services undertaken in-house, but initially you will be responsible for:

• Supervising the preparation of statements and costs budgets
• Analysing costs data and accurately estimating the costs of litigation claims 
• Assisting and training Fee Earners to understand civil costs regimes 
• Advising and reviewing settlement parameters
• Considering and dealing with costs disputes 

You will have at least 2 years' experience working within a busy costs team with a thorough understanding of the CPR and litigation process. This role will give you the opportunity to diversify your experience, broaden your skill set and be more heavily involved in the claims process from start to finish.
