Contentious Private Client Associate 1+ PQE - London

A highly regarded international firm seeks a Contentious Private Client Associate to join their fast-paced team in London. This is a very exciting time to join the firm as the team grows in conjunction with the wider private client team.

The team are consistently ranked highly in all legal directories including the Legal 500 and Chambers HNW. They largely deal with UHNW entrepreneurs, business owners and their families as well as trustees from around the world on some of the most complex and high value disputes, particularly those with an international element. The role involves working closely with the non-contentious private client team as well as the firm's other complimentary practices.

As a part of this highly regarded team, you will be offered a high level of responsibility from an early stage, taking responsibility for all aspects of a case including:

- Undertaking initial legal analysis and feeding into strategy at the outset of a case.
- Liaising with the client, other team members and counsel as required.
- Clear, concise and unambiguous preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal advice, which includes undertaking legal research using internal and external knowledge management resources.
- Considering and advising on evidence materials and strategy and preparation for trial.
- Contributing to teams' profile and undertaking business development activities from the outset by assisting with the preparation of legal articles and developing own informal internal and external network of contacts.

Candidate requirements:

- The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor with 1-4 years PQE with a strong technical background or training seats in private wealth disputes.
- Experience should have been gained at an established firm with a notable practice.
- Highly technical mindset, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to acquire and apply fundamental and up-to-date knowledge of the law.
- Personable and positive attitude and enjoys working together in a team.

You will need to be confident, diligent, well organised, and enjoy working in a collegiate atmosphere.

Very competitive salary on offer from £90k upwards depending on experience. The firm also operate wit a hybrid working policy and are happy to discuss arrangements as part of the interview process.
