Senior Legal Counsel, Disputes and Procurement

Taylor Root have worked with this client numerous times over many years. They have come to us again to help them find a new Senior Legal Counsel to add to their Dubai based team, and are seeking a disputes lawyer with additional experience across procurement and oil and gas.

Role and responsibilities:
* Most of the role will cover looking after contentious matters across international assets, with you being involved in high value arbitration.
* Resolving such disputes will be an additional objective.
* Work will also flow across from procurement, where you will develop, revise and apply standard templates across business sectors.

Candidate requirements:
* You'll need to have strong private practice or in-house experience from a reputable organisation.
* Either civil or common law experience is fine.
* 8+ PQE is ideal, with at least 4+ of that having concentrated on high value international arbitration.
* Exposure specifically to oil and gas disputes is vital.
* You don't need to be based in the Middle East right now, but broader Middle East and Asia experience is important.
