This well established firm seeks an ambitious employment lawyer to join their employment team as a partner.
Our client is well-known regional firm home to a successful partner led employment team which undertakes quality work for a roster of clients including SMEs, owner managed businesses and listed companies spanning a range of sectors.
The firm is keen to appoint a talented, experienced employment lawyer to join their practice based in the heart of Shropshire. You may be a senior associate looking for a partnership opening or you may already be a partner looking for a new and stronger platform. Whatever your current role, you'll be able to bring strong technical skills as an employment lawyer, an eye for building strong and sustainable client relationships and ideally, a good network. You may already be practising in Shropshire although applications are welcomed equally from lawyers seeking to move to the locality from another region.
The team handles contentious and non-contentious employment work, including the drafting of terms and conditions, employment contracts and agreements, TUPE, equal pay issues, discrimination cases, whistleblowing, the provision of employment law support on corporate deals and Employment Tribunal work and related litigation. You'll handle a predominantly respondent caseload, acting on behalf of SMEs, OMBs, LLPs, start-ups, partnerships and other larger companies on varied and challenging employment law issues as described above.
This role would suit an experienced employment partner (or aspiring partner with the required experience) or a senior lawyer looking at a return to private practice from an in-house role.
