An opportunity to provide corporate and commercial advice to a major player in the private education sector. This role can be fully remote or hybrid, with offices based in London.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with a broad range of corporate legal matters, including M&A and SHA, corporate restructuring, private equity, capital markets, joint ventures, etc.
  • Provide legal advice for all aspects of company law
  • Manage one or two paralegals with their progress, development and assist them with legal matters
  • Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring that all agreements are commercially and legally sound and in line with head office requirements

Profile

The ideal candidate must have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent academics and good training from a top tier City firm
  • Strong M&A and general corporate experience
  • Multitasking skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Be a client-facing and entrepreneurial team player
  • Comfortable working alongside other senior lawyers on complex matters or running their own matters independently.
