Criminal Paralegal

An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Crime Paralegal to join this leading Yorkshire firm at their Leeds office. Duties include: 

• Providing support to fee earners, solicitors and partners.
• Running a caseload of client matters under supervision where appropriate.
• Liaising with clients and other parties on behalf of fee earners and dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
• Obtaining and preparing file documentation.

• Ability to present and argue a case orally and in writing.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• A flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Professional yet approachable communication and client care.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Flexibility with travel to court to assist fee earners if required.

To be considered for this role you will have 12 months + previous experience in a similar position which is required.
