Would you like to join a rapidly-growing, globally-renowned law firm? G2 Legal is currently looking for an Intellectual Property Lawyer to join an experienced IP team within an even bigger firm.
The IP team in question is a group of legal and technical experts that specialises in intellectual property matters. They provide advice and guidance to businesses and individuals on the management, protection, and exploitation of their intellectual property assets.
The team includes patent attorneys, trademark attorneys, and other legal professionals with experience in navigating the complex landscape of IP law. Additionally, the team may also include technical experts such as engineers or scientists who can provide technical expertise in patent cases. Overall, the team's goal is to help clients develop and maintain a strong IP portfolio that aligns with their business objectives whilst also minimising the risk of infringement or litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake a varied role
- IP disputes
- Transactions
- General IP advisory work
- Focus on developing professional skills and delivering high-quality legal advice and matter management
- Increase focus on defining propositions, winning work, and becoming a trusted legal advisor to clients
- Opportunity to help achieve Deloitte Legal's ambitious aims
Requirements:
- IP Associate
- Minimum 3 years' PQE
- Firm background: City or top national firm
- Ideal experience: both contentious and non-contentious IP matters
- Curiosity, energy and drive
- Adaptability, team-orientation, genuine interest in the work
This opportunity can be based in either London or Manchester, and can also provide flexibility in terms of hours in the office as you will have the opportunity to work remotely for part of the week.
