Senior Legal Counsel

Our client, a growing international business with over 1000 employees, is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their Midlands based team.

The role offers hybrid working with 3 days per week being office based.

Reporting to the Sydney based CG and the local Finance Director, you will be the sole in-house Lawyer responsible for providing legal advice to the Groups UK leaders and wider business. This will include providing advice in relation to asset finance, regulated CCA leasing, GDPR, compliance, commercial contracts and general property matters.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a UK qualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE who has previously worked in-house. Solid experience of drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts (preferably in asset / equipment finance) is required along with broad corporate and commercial law expertise. Strong commercial acumen, effective communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and engage with people at all levels is also key.
