They are currently seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Solicitor to join their dynamic team.
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory work. You will work closely with a team of experienced solicitors and partners, advising clients on complex legal issues, negotiating and drafting contracts, and providing strategic advice to help them achieve their business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality legal advice and support to corporate clients on various matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.
- Conduct due diligence and research on legal and regulatory issues affecting corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, other legal professionals, and external advisors.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in corporate law and regulations to ensure compliance and advise clients accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and tailored legal solutions.
- Assist in business development initiatives, including attending networking events and participating in marketing activities to expand the firm's client base.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified solicitor at NQ level or 1-3 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience in handling complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate finance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- A proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to provide practical and strategic advice to clients.
