Pure Search are instructed by a relative newcomer to the Litigation market, having been set up by the former Heads of Litigation from a larger international law firm.
The Firm:
Our client is a specialist litigation boutique, acting for both corporates and individuals across domestic and cross-border commercial and financial disputes. The firm typically work directly with business owners and investors, as well as some of the larger banks, financial institutions and state-owned entities.
Representing a diversion from 'Big Law', the firm still maintain the same standards and quality of work but in a very different environment to the larger City law firms. The firm benefits from the experience and commercial nous of a team of Senior Partners from a leading City law firm but with huge scope to imprint your vision on the future growth and development of the firm.
The Role:
This is a broad Commercial Litigation role encompassing everything from general High Court and Commercial Court Litigation, often with a significant international dimension, through to Insolvency Litigation, Banking Disputes, Fraud Litigation, White Collar Crime and Regulatory Investigations and Private Wealth Disputes.
As a Mid-Level Associate, you will benefit from a team of seniors and juniors to support you, with a clear path to Senior Associate for the right candidate.
About You:
You will have at least 18-24 months post-qualification experience at a Legal 500 or Chambers ranked practice for Litigation.
You will be looking for a new challenge which presents the same quality of work as the larger City and international law firms but with something very different culturally, which is more start-up and in growth mode in terms of its development. As a result, the role would suit someone that isn't afraid to get stuck in and take on as much responsibility as they can handle, recognising that there will be a dramatic improvement on work/life balance compared to the larger City firms.
