McKenzie Douglas are recruiting for an impressive green energy infrastructure organisation that has a leading presence in the market. The position reports directly to the Head of Legal and you will enjoy playing a key role in advising the business on high value infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing and negotiating PPP/PFI contracts, funding documentation, waste supply agreements, Engineer Procure and Construct contracts, construction contracts, maintenance agreements and O&M agreements etc;
  • Leading and managing external legal advisors on large, complex projects and transactions;
  • Providing advice regarding procurement, regulatory and compliance matters.

We are looking for:

  • England & Wales qualified projects/construction/commercial lawyer;
  • 5 years+ experience (in a top law firm ideally with in-house experience);
  • Experience of PPP/PFI projects and general commercial contracts is essential 
  • Knowledge of waste industry or another highly regulated sector would be advantageous;
  • Ability to work in a team and supervise junior members.
