McKenzie Douglas seek a lawyer, eligible to work and reside in the UK, with UK PLC governance experience to join the corporate management team of a global engineering and services group.

 

The Ethics and Compliance Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, and regular update of the Compliance Programme.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Drafting and obtaining approval for all sets of corporate norms, i.e. policies, standards, procedures and guidelines;
  • Reviewing all existing policies.
  • Making sure that the PLC and its affiliated companies have issued all policies expected from a Group operating globally.
  • Leading the internal policy classification and review process in support of all functions;
  • Designing and implementing the global E&C training;
  • Putting in place and managing the Group investigation process;
  • Supporting Treasury to ensure compliance with Company’s financial covenants and in general all its financial obligations. 

 

You will have a Legal degree with a preferred specialisation in corporate governance and a first experience with a bank or a financial institution – 5-12 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 4 years working for a PLC.
