Competition/Commercial Litigation Lawyer

Our client is one of the world's largest and most prestigious law firms.

They are particularly well known for the strengths of their litigation team, which is consistently ranked within the top tier. Likewise their competition team is highly rated, and close collaboration with the international network ensures seamless cross-border advice to their clients: leading Financial Institutions, top Fortune and FTSE companies from all industry sectors, regulatory bodies and national governments.

The Competition team covers the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious competition work, and competition litigation would normally be handled within it, but this is a rare opportunity for a strong commercial litigator with some competition experience to act on a range of more general commercial disputes, while at the same time retaining a focus on contentious competition class action work.

In order to be considered you will have:

• A strong academic background;
• Most likely 3-5 years' post-qualification experience of commercial litigation experience, including some exposure to competition class action work (probably gained at an international firm);
• Strong foundation of legal skills, including drafting, negotiation and project management skills, people management and business development skills;
• You will also need to be a bright self-starter looking for a challenge, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
