Clinical Negligence Solicitor, 12 months Fixed Term Contract, 3 + years’ PQE, East Midlands, up to c£55,000 DOE. This Top 100 National law firm are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor for a fixed term period.

THE ROLE:
A well-regarded practice has an exceptional opportunity available for a talented Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be working in the busy Defendant Clinical Negligence team on a varied caseload that consists of
healthcare and inquest advisory matters. A typical day will see you supporting the team on clinical negligence cases to include attending meetings, arranging conferences and the liaising with third parties, insurers, counsel, and medical experts. The firm offer flexible working arrangements with some days working from their office and the rest done remotely. Candidates wishing to be considered for this role must have the natural ability to provide legal services with a personal touch whilst at all times demonstrating care and understanding.

THE CANDIDATE:
Our client is looking for qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE and experience gained within clinical negligence work. The post holder will have previous experience in drafting documents and correspondence such as witness statements and letters of instruction to counsel and to medical experts. This organisation is seeking a team player with a genuine ‘can do’ attitude and a proven track record of taking initiative in previous roles. It is highly desirable that the candidate have relevant defendant experience, however the firm are considering candidates with a good solid claimant background. This is a great opportunity for the successful solicitor to join a team who are experts within their field and who can share their wealth of knowledge.
