Are you a talented Education Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity to join a reputable law firm in London? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join this established team, specialising in the full range of schools related matters. As an Education Solicitor, you will primarily focus on the land and trusts of school sites, as well as the conversion and rebrokerage of academies. However, we also welcome applicants who possess experience in admissions appeals, SEND matters, Ofsted appeals, and other relevant areas.

Responsibilities:

• Handling a diverse range of schools related matters, including land and trust issues pertaining to school sites.
• Assisting with the conversion and rebrokerage of academies, ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements.
• Providing expert advice and representation in admissions appeals, SEND matters, Ofsted appeals, and other related areas as required.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality legal services, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Keeping up to date with changes in education law and related legislation, ensuring compliance and offering proactive advice to clients.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with a focus on Education Law.
• NQ+ level experience in handling education-related matters.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of land and trusts issues concerning school sites.
• Proven experience in academy conversion and rebrokerage.
• Familiarity with admissions appeals, SEND matters, and Ofsted appeals is advantageous.
• Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• A proactive approach, keeping abreast of developments in education law.
