Our client is a talent agency based in the heart of London representing writers and directors working in drama across film, television and theatre; from those at the peak of their careers to those at the very beginning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented lawyer to support the Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs in this eclectic media business. This varied role will work alongside a collegiate and close-knit team of agents on a range of television, film and theatre matters.
As part of the team, you will gain exposure to drafting and negotiating screenwriting and acquisition contracts, directing agreements, television production agreements, format agreements, distribution agreements, licensing and film financing agreements.
The successful candidate will be a NQ-3 Years PQE lawyer. Experience working in/for the film and/or TV industry would be an advantage, but strong candidates from outside the media industry will be considered. IP experience is highly desirable. Excellent legal research and contract drafting skills are essential, as is a keen attention to detail and excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
