Interim Head of Legal

A global FTSE 250 company which manufactures cutting edge, sustainable products is seeking to recruit an interim Head of Legal for a period of 12 months:

Location: Central London

Hybrid working: 2 days in the office per week

As interim Head of Legal for EMEA, the successful applicant will be heavily involved in a range of commercial and corporate matters, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating sales and procurement contracts, advising the Group on contractual issues as they arise;
- Advising on any Competition and IP issues;
- Assisting on Company Secretarial matters;
- Managing M&A matters across the EMEA region;
- Guiding the EMEA legal team on day to day work; and
- Keeping regularly engaged with key senior stakeholders.

The business is a major player in its field and offers a superb opportunity for a Senior Counsel or Senior Interim looking to take on a key position in a global company.

Requirements

The key focus of the role is Commercial matters, with any additional experience/understanding of Corporate, Company Secretarial and Competition an added bonus. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, so experience of this would also be an advantage.

The business is based very centrally in London but will substantial home-working. On offer is a strong salary and package.

This position would suit a c+ PQE Commercial Lawyer with international experience and the business is looking for a start date around 1st September.
