Design Manager

Design Manager / Team Lead role in a Boutique London Law Firm. Great firm culture. London with hybrid working. Salary up to £65,000.

This leading boutique law firm, well known for their work in the private client space, is looking for a Design Manager to lead their creative function. The role will manage and be supported by a Brand / Design Assistant and take lead in managing the firm’s brand guidelines and project managing a range of design projects. The role will work alongside a friendly and long standing MarComms team, with plenty of support and buy in from the business and senior leadership team.

Responsibilities of the Design Manager role will entail:

• Acting as adviser to the business and marketing on all design-related queries; Maintaining branding guidelines and asset libraries; Managing relationships with external creatives agencies and consultants; Support the Head of MarComms with strategy and planning for branding and creative materials; Design and creative new assets and templates, for both internal and external materials; Line management and coaching of an Assistant.

This role would suit someone with:

• At least 5 years of experience within a design function; Experience within legal or a comparable professional service environment; Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour use, layout and general design; High proficiency in the Adobe Suite of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, as well as emerging interactive design trends Digital design experience and an understanding of CMS / HTML; Video editing experience would also be desirable.
