Costs Fee Earner

Our client is seeking an experienced Costs Fee Earner with a background in litigation and a strong focus on costs recovery and adverse costs. The firm have an excellent reputation within the legal industry offering hybrid working and flexible working hours. 

Depending on your expertise and career aspirations, this role offers a range of key responsibilities, including:

• Drafting budgets, challenging opponents' budgets, engaging in subsequent negotiations, and attending Case and Costs Management Conferences (CCMCs) when necessary
• Evaluating and disputing claims for fixed costs and associated disbursements, you will handle negotiations, prepare Points of Dispute, and manage Part 8 proceedings
• Skilfully negotiating the settlement of third-party costs claims, preparing Points of Dispute
