FS Regulatory Solicitor, London, 3-7 PQE

Our client's global-leading Financial Services Regulatory practice has an opening for a solicitor in their London office.

Applicants will ideally have between 3-7 years post qualification experience (which will have been gained at another leading City practice or in-house, but in each case with a predominate focus on cross-border FS regulation).

The suitable candidate will be able to quickly understand client business operating models, think about their challenges through a regulatory lens and identify the critical legal/regulatory questions which need to be answered from an initial view based on the information available. Where local counsel is required, associates will to be able to instruct clearly and concisely, directing counsel to focus on the relevant issues and critically evaluating all responses from a client-perspective, to identify and resolve as much as possible before the client receives any output.

Other facets of the role include responsibility for supervising, training, coaching, developing and giving feedback to junior members of the team and/or wider FS Regulatory group. You will also be responsible for helping to grow the business by securing instructions from existing or new clients.
