Catastrophic Injury / Large Loss - Paralegal or Litigation Executive - We are interested in speaking with talented paralegals with personal injury experience to join this growing team. You will play a crucial part in supporting experienced fee earners in handling complex injury cases on behalf of major insurers and corporates.

- Expertise: Good understanding of the litigation process. The team specialises in RTA work so RTA experience would be ideal, though EL/PL experience will be considered.
Our client
This is a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked law firm which undertakes a range of complex work from severe head and spinal injury work to amputations and fatalities. The role is best suited to a paralegal or litigation executive with some degree of injury experience, though the hiring managers do wish to see a range of candidates.
Nature of the opportunity
Paralegals and Litigation Executives assist at various levels within the team. Some work with fee earners on cases with reserves up to £1m, whilst other matters can be up to as much as £25m. This is a varied role. Responsibilities will include:
- assisting a Partner and Legal Director in managing a caseload of catastrophic injury cases from inception to resolution.
- instructing counsel and experts
- drafting witness statements
- preparing disclosure lists of own evidence and review third party disclosure.
- attending client meetings and Joint Settlement Meetings ("JSMs") and be a fully valued member of the team
- developing your knowledge of case strategy
- Conducting legal research where required
Complex injury arising out of RTA and EL/PL matters
This role represents an excellent opportunity to develop expertise whilst working alongside some of the best large loss lawyers in the country. Fee earners within this team focus on complex RTA and EL/PL work and have developed an outstanding reputation for large loss matters involving severe and long-term injuries.
