Family Paralegal

Your new company
This is a growing, multi-practice law firm, based in Lancashire that are going through an exciting time of expansion due to an increasing workload and onboarding of new clients. The firm operate in a range of personal legal services, including crime, family, and wills and probate
Your new role
As a family paralegal, you will be required to assist solicitors, fee earners and partners within the firm on a range of family law matters. Your typical roles and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
• To work closely with partners and lawyers of the firm to handle family law cases.
• To undertake research relating to family law in order to provide advice.
• To prepare important legal bundles for court and attend when necessary.
• To build and maintain positive relationships with the firm's clients and be a good point of contact.
What you'll need to succeed
This position is ideal for someone who has gained some legal experience and is looking to move into family law with the aim of qualifying as a family solicitor. Having spent time with family law/legal aid in the past would be beneficial. Having the LLB degree with a minimum 2:1 grade is essential, and the LPC would be preferred.
