A large software organisation based in the West Midlands are looking to expand their internal legal team by hiring a Commercial Lawyer into the team.
With operations across Europe and Internationally this will be a senior role reporting into the General Counsel with some supervision of more junior members of the team.
The role:
Joining this fast-paced organisation you will be primarily responsible for commercial matters which include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (mainly technology to include; SaaS, IT security, re-seller agreements, partnership agreements, cloud services and more).
- Supporting other business areas on project work where required.
- Providing legal advice on a variety of matters to include; GDPR, dispute resolution, data protection, compliance, property and employment.
- Supervising more junior members of the team.
Requirements:
We are looking to speak with Commercial Lawyers with a minimum of 4 year PQE experience, with some experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating technology contracts. It would also be beneficial to have some In-House experience although not required as the organisation will look at individuals from a private practice background.
Salary is dependant on experience but UP TO £90k along with a benefits package to include bonus, private medical and more.
The business also operate a flexible working policy and this role will be carried out remotely with some ad-hoc travel to the businesses office.
